"The inspiration for my work comes from my love of gardens and gardening. The aesthetic appeal of plant life provides me with an absorbing array of ideas. I like to explore the sculptural quality of plants whilst also trying to capture their vulnerability and sensuality. Each individual piece is hand built in white earthenware clay and finished with a matte white glaze. The lack of decoration pushes the form to the fore and the shadows they cast become an integral part of the piece." All pieces are handbuilt using white eartheware clay and finished with a matt white glaze. Each piece is individual.
